Bovine papillomavirus (BPV) type 1 is the most common BPV found in cattle. In this study, we have identified and characterized a BPV isolated from the water buffalo (Bubalus bubalis) in Brazil. The complete genome of the isolate was characterized by the use of polymerase chain reaction (PCR), and the results were analyzed by phylogenetic analyses. The genome of this BPV strain was found to be approximately 5121 nucleotides (nt) long. The single open reading frame (ORF) was 5376 nt in size, with homology to the ORF of BPV type 1. By the application of different polypeptides translated from the ORF to the BLAST tool, it was possible to show that the protein sequence encoded by the genome of this strain is most similar to that encoded by BPV type 1 (76.5%). By the alignment of nucleotide sequences, the genus (Papillomaviridae) was shown to be the most suitable for classification.Shepherd
A shepherd is an outdoorsman who herd livestock or protect animals. Sometimes they tend to herds of sheep, but it is also possible that some shepherds might have pigs or goats for protection. Although they are usually vegetarian, some shepherds may make some use of horses and dogs to herd their livestock.
Outside of Asia, the term'shepherd' typically refers to a man who tends to the domesticated farm animals on a regular basis, such as when shepherding sheep. In such cases the term is sometimes applied to cattle ranchers and horse trainers as well.
In the East and South, a shepherd is typically a Muslim cleric who shepherds the flock in the wilderness.
Contrary to popular misconceptions, shepherds are not the same as sheep herders. Sheep herders tend to domestic sheep rather than cattle or other animals and they tend 01e38acffe
